Simona is an energetic therapist who has worked with children, teenagers, young and older adults, and families. Her specialties include ADHD/ADD, depression, anxiety disorders, adulthood transitions, and the everyday stressors that life brings.

Simona was born in Bulgaria and moved to the United States when she was 12. She is fluent in Bulgarian and can treat Bulgarian families in their native language if desired. 

She has a master’s degree in Forensic Psychology with an emphasis on counseling and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology focusing on Human Developmental Psychology. She loves pizza (because who doesn't!), appreciates summer and winter, and makes a trip to the gun range to do her own stress management. Simona currently lives in the north suburbs with her partner, Alexander, and dog, Cooper.

Simona’s favorite part about counseling is getting to connect with and help other people. She loves to provide a comfortable and safe space for her clients to be their true and authentic selves. During sessions, Simona values honesty, humor, and open communication. Her goal is to meet her clients with compassion and flexibility.
