Angela Fieldhouse, MA, LPC

“Everything happens for a reason.”

Credentials

  • LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor
  • Masters in Child/Adolescent Clinical Mental Health Counseling

Angela completed her master's degree in Child/Adolescent Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lewis University. Angela has three years of experience working in the inpatient hospital setting and has also done work in a PHP setting.

As a mother to two children, Angela knows what it’s like to want the best for your child and to set them up for success. Depression, anxiety, school stressors, peer relationships, family conflict, and social media are all things that may affect children and adolescents differently than adults, which can be difficult for parents to help their children navigate through. She believes therapy can help.

Angela’s Thoughts on Counseling:

When it comes to building relationships with her clients, Angela values transparency, humor, and honesty. She wants her clients to not let their mental health decide their happiness and believes counseling can help them take back control.

What Angela Says About the Client/Counselor Relationship:

Angela believes that it’s hard to get a lot out of therapy when you don’t have a therapist you trust. With that in mind, she believes clients should prioritize what’s best for them and not feel bad about deciding to try a different therapist.
