I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be your authentic self. Whether that means having a serious conversation, laughing together, getting creative, or taking a break from traditional talk therapy. I have a particular passion for working with children, teens, and young adults, and I enjoy incorporating a little playfulness and creativity into the therapeutic process. From toys and games to slime, drawing, and other hands-on activities, I use creative approaches to help clients feel comfortable, engaged, and connected while still doing meaningful therapeutic work. My goal is to create a space that feels welcoming and age-appropriate, while helping clients build coping skills, develop self-understanding, navigate life’s challenges, and recognize their own strengths. I truly love the work I do and feel passionate about helping young people feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their mental health journey.

As someone who recently moved to the Crystal Lake area, I’m excited to become part of the community and connect with local families. I believe that mental health challenges are something we experience, not something that defines who we are. As Matt Haig beautifully said, “Mental health problems don't define who you are. They are something you experience. You walk in the rain and you feel the rain, but, importantly, you are not the rain.” I hope to help clients remember that they are more than what they are going through and that, even during difficult seasons, there is always room for growth, connection, and joy.
