William Brinati, LPC

William offers both remote and in person (masked/unmasked) therapy sessions.

William Brinati graduated with an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Trinity Christian College in 2016 and has worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2017. He is passionate about supporting people on their life journeys and boosting their experiences with his therapeutic guidance.

William is especially committed to treating mental disorders, relieving suffering, and helping clients reach their goals. Primarily, he uses Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which are both widely used and extremely effective treatments.

In his years of service, William has used CBT and ACT to effectively treat clients suffering from a number of disorders like anxiety, addiction, depression, and trauma. He has also treated relational issues for people of all ages and even provides marriage and couples counseling for those seeking support in their partnerships.

With the use of CBT and ACT, William helps his clients change negative patterns of thinking and behavior, which are connected to emotions and the way a person feels. He also focuses on present-moment awareness, uses meditation therapy, and works on diffusing negative thoughts with those who are struggling.

William earned his M.A. in Biblical Studies from Wheaton College in 2021. So he is a great resource for anyone looking for insight on religious, spiritual, or theological questions and/or issues. He can even include this perspective within a therapeutic setting for those who are interested.

He has worked as a private practice counselor, an addictions counselor, and an in-home care provider since 2014—and he is now proud to be a member of the NPS team. William believes that through counseling, diligence, and clinical therapy, any client can find hope and healing in life. He strives for tangible results and breakthroughs in every session.
